I'll go with:

Fruit wrapped in plastic: it’s already in a packet but yet our major supermarket chains insist on placing two avocados on a plastic tray and wrapping them in cling-film, which does truly defy logic, as I am sure there is nothing they need to be protected from in your average supermarket.

BUT MY KIDSLOVE ANYTHINGIN A PACKAGE OR ON ASTICK, lunchables, smaller bags of doritos, juice in a box (as opposed to in a cup) etc....

Seems they just like the packaging sometimes...

.

Probably serves two purpose. First to keep assholes from squeezing them to see if they are ripe, second to make you buy two when you only really needed one.

I agree with making you buy Two. but I have found at times they wrap 2 or 3 because they have been sitting there for a bit and they throw in a few Ripe ones that are almost getting bad.
