I'll watch it just because it's the last one, but I think Conan is handling this whole situation very poorly and is coming off as a classless prick who can't face the truth that his ratings did indeed suck. Someone said something about his skits costing 4.5 million for NBC last night, really Conan?

How is Conan classless? Jay was the one that chose not to bow out of the situation. If you're gonna leave then get the fuck out. As Letterman said, "Don't say you're gonna leave and then hang around in the lobby."
His ratings weren't as high as Jay's but Conan was on for only 7 months.
Go back to Jay Leno's first two years and tell me what his ratings were.

There's a difference between going out with class and creating a good impression for other networks, and going out guns blazing and saying fu to the network that could've axed you 15 years ago. Seems like someone doesn't know what class means.

This is Golfing Maumelle's wife :howdy: & I couldn't help but jump in on this topic!! Conan is a comic genius!! He is the same guy behind some of the best SNL skits!! I refuse to go back and forth arguing about this matter, however his closing statement far exceeded my expectations of what his final words on the tonight show should have been! I would have said something more along the lines of suck it!!! He was in a contract!!! Who wouldn't be pissed after moving their entire family & staff & staff's family thousands of miles away to a whole new city!?! :think2: He was extremely humble and grateful for all of the things in his life & he actually teared up at the end!!! & like he said, he would do the show at a 7-11 Gas Station with a smile on his face!! Excuse me, you are right...he is not humble at all...he should have a zillion cars in a garage like Jay, that would make him humble!!! AND DUH!!! LIKE CONAN EVEN SAID ALL OF THE MILLION DOLLAR STUFF THAT HE WAS WASTING ON THE SHOW WAS A JOKE!!! A JOKE!!! Do you really think he would do that MILLION DOLLAR SKIT & THEN ASK EVERYONE TO DONATE MONEY TO HELP THE PEOPLE OF HAITI???? Seriously?!! He has always made jokes at his own expense & makes everyone smile & laugh! I know someone at NBC who met him after this whole fiasco & she had nothing but great things to say about him. I wish Jay the best, but Conan is more for my age group (late 20's) & Jay is old school!! Out with old in with the new & now back with the old again...No Thank You!!! Mark my words, Conan will be back soon & much more successful than Leno!!
