Debunk the Betphoenix Rumors...

I just wanted to recognize how happy I have been with my BetPhoenix account. They have IMO the best customer support around. I have cashed out 4-5 times with them and never had any problem, usually recieve a check in 4-5 days. They also have reduced juice which pays off so much in the long run!

Just wanted to stop all the hate that I had read about this great site and throw something positive out there.

We always here about the idiot that complains that the site was down for 20 minutes, but we never hear about the 1000's of happy customers they have daily.

As long as a site is courteous to me and pays me on time, I will endorse them as long as they will listen...

Site hasn't been down at all in at least a month.

That was a very rare happening and happens when you are becoming a big time player in the offshore book world...ie server problems...

I personally was one of the people who was affected by site outages about a month back...

I was pissed sometimes.. and sometimes I felt I had saved money... to be honest it all even'd out in the wash :toast:


I also got two Bonus Plays for two seperate times they were down.. it can never hurt to ask.

In the present and in the past, besides the site being down on and off for a few rough weekends,I have felt that this book was on its way up the entire time... It seems as with everything that they do , they try to make you comfortable at their book and really are trying to cater toward the player personally rather then just an account number with 5 letters/digits.. most of the people at the book call me by name if I call in and they are very quick to respond to a detailed question I might have or even a few times I entered a bet as a mistake and called prior to game tip and was able to get the bet changed or cancelled.. that imo is way more than they need to go to make sure I am happy.

Also If anyone plays the live casino.. you will notice the women they have dealing and doing the service are very attractive. I am hoping that there will be some more games to come in the near future as I have heard a few good things from my own personal account rep.

Some things I heard was about Sicbo (live with the lady dealers).. its a dice game similiar to craps but more like big six wheel with dice Also there is a poker room in the works... I myself play at fulltilt now, and wouldnt mind dabbling into the donk world of betting degenerates willing to throw me a stack or two at late night end to help their chase. LOL


in any case.. I am all for the site.. I have considered them to be one of the most complete books and only a few things they need improvement on will hopefully be in the future.. Once other books trade back and forth with them (for now I believe its matchbook and maybe 1 other) it will be one of the great books .


On a final note I will say this... I myself check about 3 books every time I make a bet.. I only have money in two of them.. but I check three just out of habit. LOL... 9 times out of 10 betphoenix has the best line (reduced juice/or .5 pts in my favor) and that is why I place the majority of my personal action there.

And their so called "down time" was a hell of a lot more than a few minutes.

I 'd still call them a top ten book, but that means little, as there are only about 5 books I trust, or need to trust.

SBR rated about B, about right.

I just keep in the back of my head when they get all the site stuff figured out and they have the best line for my bet I don't want to be unfunded.

I wouldn't be afraid to fund them, just not more than like 25% of BR

Known as scrapping pennies off the floor. A SUPREMELY SURE SIGN THEY ARE HAVING FISCAL PROBLEMS.

No way you would cut off reduced vig in the middle of anything, unless you needed the money.

Sugarbear...believe me, they don't need the aggravation...they are a top book and anybody says different are morons...I have been in their facilities and know the owner...your money is safe and Richard is a straight shooter...go bother the really bad books such as betus.com and others that can't pay...(<)<

i agree tere are plenty of books out there rated as is for slow pay or NO PAY.. i dare someone to come here with a legitimate payout issue from this establishment... until that happens I trust them like any other book we all know will be around for many years.


keep in mind how hard it is to climb the later of acceptance and also how profitable sports booking is... saying that they cancelled reduced juice due to some money issue is kinda a failure because why wasn't juice cancelled in sports like nba? or anything else continuing to run. the reason college baskets was cancelled we will never know but I suppose books have made a slim line of profit on TOTALS in the cbb game this year... we all know books have been getting slaughtered on totals (this is just an assumption based on traditional values.. and times of when totals are dropped at line -setting books). so if they were barely turing a profit on a total or maybe it was hurting there bottom line.. they have two choices... down post totals (people quit betting there)... and go back to -110 like every other book. (the reason the entire cbb game was changed to -110 is because it would be dumb for them to point out the area of what books have been less profitable than other years in.. so they cancelled it all)

this is not to say eventually the reduced juice will come back...but my assumption is prolly nott ill next season or atleast the madness tourney.


maybe if Richard or another betphoeix guru can provide us some better info than this?... afterall this is 80% just an opinion and i have no real solid facts to support my reasoning other than hearsay and book chatter.



in any case.. I trust this book right now and until I hear one complaint of a no pay or even slow for that matter then I have no reason to believe they arent an up and coming book who has climbed its way up a very tough ladder and planted itself in the mainstream gambling world.

yes they did.. which is a sign of this years crazy total killings the las vegas sharps are having. (once again this is purely hearsay.. but books have been taking a beating in totals as far as i know)

newbees reading this and veteran posters ...This is the endorsement i would look for if im playing at a book... from VD or Judge...after almost 11 yrs of posting here if these guys say a book is legit and on the level it is without a doubt

Agreed. Still to much chatter about them though. They do need to come in and address the issue like someone just said.
