Once a Major League Baseball All-Star, who was living in a multimillion-dollar Lake Sherwood estate last year, Lenny Dykstra now claims he is homeless. Sitting in a rumpled suit in a lounge at a Beverly Hills hotel — with his longtime bookkeeper on hand to pay for his drinks, food and room — he describes the past 11 months as a “nightmare.” “I’ve been fighting for my life,” Dykstra said...

I read the article OMG what a fuckin donky this guy is. That AIG deal that he talks about is nonsence. I know the busines and there is no way he is being paid that way. No $ til he gets 100 sales of immense proportions LOL.

Lenny , even AIG dissed you.

You did one good thing though... you saved Gretz some grief.

He even says he was buying Gretzky's house to later flip it and he's blaming the bank for loaning him the money. It's assholes like him, buying house(s) to flip, that played a part in destroying the economy. He chose to gamble and lost. End of story. I don't feel the least bit sorry for him.

It kills me about all these RICH people that go broke. If you or anyone can ADD numbers at all, when your money goes from $100 million to $10 million net worth you should see the signs of something go wrong. Instead these dumb asses just keeping living it up large. It's hard to believe that these RICH dummies just keep spending money, if my net worth is shrinking then so is my life style or just prepare to be penny less and home less.

No reason for him to be homeless. He played for Mets and Phils, mainly, right ?

I'm sure some fan in those cities owns a business of some sort, that can give him a decent enough job so he can have a roof over his head.

He could tend bar at a Philly sportsbar, for example, may not break 100k, but 80k in Philly is not homeless, either.

He only gets that because he was a ballplayer.

Dykstra got $1,800 diamond bracelet from NBC10 on top of free dinner

Being interviewed by NBC10 could be one of the best decisions Lenny Dykstra has made in ages.
On Monday we told you that Dykstra and a hot blonde were comped a meal at The Palm (200 S. Broad) where NBC10 sends its "Sports Final" guests for dinner.
We've since learned that the bankrupt former Phillies star, in town for a sports-card show, also picked up an $1,800 diamond bracelet for his ladyfriend at Steven Singer Jewelers (8th & Walnut), which also has a trade arrangement with NBC10. The Palm dinner and Steven Singer gift cards are disclosed as gifts to guests at the end of the Sunday "Sports Final" show.
We're told that Nails let his companion choose her gift while he spent most of his time in the store talking on his phone and signing baseballs for a few employees.
A station spokeswoman did not return our inquiry as to whether most guests receive nearly two grand in gifts to the jewelers.

Bet the station didn't think he would rack up a $700 dinner bill and to top it off order crab cakes and desserts to take back to their room at the Ritz for him and his girl. Guess karma is that he's broke since he treats people like shit stiffing the waiter. From what I read about him in the past, he's a huge POS.
