I had no money on this game, and really wasn't rooting strongly for the Vikings. Wanted them to win, but no big deal.

And even I'm sick to my stomach and furious after that fucking bullshit.

Fuck the refs for robbing everyone from what would have been a great game.

The Vikes and Saints for some reason always play these type of sloppy ass games where even the officials have a hard time calling it. That Monday night game last year was the exact same way. I also remember going to a game in the Superdome abot 6 or years ago when the Dante and the Vikes came to town and it was a see saw game with a lot of penalties and on the final drive with the Vikes seemingly having nothing to play for went for 2 points with no time on the clock and converted for the win and even on that two point conversion Dante Culpepper fumbled and kicked the ball around and picked it up and scored.

All in all though the Vikings had their fair share of calls go their way. If they could have held onto the ball tighter they would be going to Miami and we would be listening to every sports douche drooling and slobbering over Favre.

I'm glad as hell that I don't have to hear about Brett Favre for the next two weeks. For that reason, I was pulling for the Saints. It was really no surprise that the Vikings handed them the game. For the past 20 or so years, they have now choked away 3 NFC Championship games, and gotten their asses handed to them in another when they were laying about 6 points on the road.

It seem like choking in the big game is basically what the Vikings do best, doesn't matter who the coaches or players are.

Of Course "Clueless" Is The Problem

There was complete confusion on the sidelines in the last 2 min. of reg. time. He has no clue in crunch time & no control. Instead of calming the team down, & calling a TO, we had 2 left. He's running around looking for some solution, somewhere God knows where! He's NEVER been a Head Coach at ANY level and it shows. He's not a leader of men, and in crunch time when it counts he's completely befuddled.

For some reason he's got Ziggy BS'd, and will keep his job. Anyone that lays the blame on Favre's play is a fool. Did he make an ill advised play? Of course, but my Vikes would not have been there w/o him. The play calling in that last 1:30 was way too conservative, then the 12th man, solely the Coaches fault, made the whole thing a cluster fuck of gigantic proportions.

8 fumbles/picks, losing 5, playing in their house, not getting some roughing the passer calls that would have been called against anyone else. Even TJ said when Favre was getting hit high by one guy, then hit @ the knees by another, said "I thought they were calling that"!! With all of that we were 1 play from Miami. We're the better team, and got screwed by circumstances & our own inability to hold on to the ball.

Anyone that thinks the NFL didn't want the "feel good" Saints in the SB is nuts. The "poor downtrodden" NO team now can feel glorious. I hope and belive Manning will kill this team in Miami. 3- is a gift IMO!!

With everything going wrong for the Vikings, they were clearly the better team. I don't see the Saints being a problem for the Colts
