I took Sports Options free week and would like to know from those who use this on a regular basis what is the best way to take advantage of this information. Is there an advantage to comparing the line to the computer and if so what variance is needed for a solid wager? Are the key move alerts worth noting and if so how do you bet them? Is there any difference in this information than what you get free at SBR? Also am able to view Sportsbook Spy and Bet Tracker for free that gives similar information.

On Sports Option is there a way to tell how many bets are being counted for their public percentages? How accurate are their computer lines? Has anyone devised a system using the information provided to generate a consistent profit with the information provided? I have been using SBR, Bet Tracker from Sportsinsights and Sports Spybook from Pregame. Is there an advantage with Sports Options to justify paying for their information?

Thanks for any insight you may share.....JJ

Jimmy,

I have used Sports Options from Day One.

I will try to answer your questions the best I can, but some might be better answered by RickA

The ones that you Listed are pretty good for Free Service, But you can't even compare SO to these.

You would need to compare S.O to G&J or DB.
Because those are the Premium in the business.

IMHO, I would even leave G&J off that List.

IMO, Sportsoptions has Faster, key move alerts , and Injury Alerts.
There have been times, that SO has come out with the Info Before DB
DB has been known in the past, to Not Release some Info.
( But not sure now, As I myself stopped using them last year )

I also like the fact at How many Different Premium Books that can keep track of.
You can set up the way you wanto see each Book, you get 2nd half Lines, and look at Line history & Moves....

Also at a Click of the Mouse, you can get Stats ( Past& present )
Steam Info.....Go to Archives, Futures, weather, and even which Channel the game is on.

There's just so much.........

I even used SO to help with my leroy's Contest...( which I finished 3rd )

This is a Tool, that I will keep for a Lifetime. and couldn't see me Without it.:toast:

Hi Jimmy,

Sorry I did not get to this sooner. I think I can answer all of your questions:

Computer numbers: Because we just started posting these number this football season, we do not have a lot of historical data. From speaking with customers, the consensus is that a 2 point difference on sides and 3 points on totals seems to be where the value comes in.

Key Move alerts: You can get an idea of how the Key Move alerts are doing by looking at the Steam Plays (there is a button on the tool bar for these) because steam plays are basically Key Moves. It is not exact, but close enough for you to compare. In general, if you can get down on the number of a Key Move, you have an advantage.

Public Percentages: We do not have bet count, but I can tell you that we have a very large sampling for this information. In addition to 5dimes, we have feeds from some of the largest sportsbooks in the world.

As for the advantages over the other services that you listed, here are some examples of what SportsOptions gives you that the others do not:

Speed: Even our Standard version is overall faster than the free services.
Accuracy: Our information is used by the largest sports bettors and sportsbooks in the world, so you know our information is reliable.
Injuries: Our injury reports are faster, more accurate and in more detail.
Computer Numbers
Number of Sportsbooks carried: We have over 60 sportsbooks posting odds. Even though most people don’t have 60 accounts, have a large number of sportsbooks is a big advantage for Key Moves.
Features: The free services cannot match our features. Key Moves, Odds Watch, Middle Alerts, Halftime options and much more.
Customizable: You can customize our odds screen to fit your exact needs.

Our cost is $299 per month for the Pro Service and $99 for the Standard service.

We do not currently post the recommended plays, but this is a feature that will be coming soon. In fact, we will be posting plays from 4 different systems, including the computer numbers.

I hope this helps, and please do not hesitate to contact me with any further questions or comments.

Regards,
Rick

Jimmy,
I have used SportsOptions for several months now and I am reasonably happy with what they provide. Here are a few suggestions for you. Take the free trial and take the time to look at the various features they have; it will be time very well spent. The so called "pro" version, which is a lot faster than the "standard" and has some extra features, is worth the money if you are into betting big time; it is the one they give you for the free trial. Regardless, unless you bet as an intellectual pasttime only, you do need to have accounts with several (in my opinion at least five) sportbooks to make having SportsOptions worthwhile.

Jimmy.i also have used SO since day one. At one time i had three services at one time. I now have two for some reason i don't know why. I'm always afraid one may go down. Betall is telling it like it is. There is no comparison with the others. Sport's Options is the fastest, most accurate and dependable service out there. You can save the cost of the service from day one. Their injury reports are spot on and the fastest out there. You can also look at the top books in the business amd compare their moves and see who moves first and who dry moves

Currently on the 7 day trial. Like the fact that on key Injuries you tell how many games they currently missed.

and like that the key injury stats for that player are included.

To be fair and to compare, after my week was up I am trying LinesMover for
a week.

Wish I had tried them 1st, when I wouldnt know better what I am missing.

Options has them beat in every phase, Lines, scores , injuries, speed, ability to print reports, just plain everything.

Oak3 - thanks for the update..

In all seriousness, not trying to just hype one of our sponsors, statements like the one you posted today are becoming so common that I have no doubt that SportsOptions is a mandatory handicapping tool for any bettor who is serious about having a real chance to beat the spread in the long run...

SportsOptions did not happen over night as Rick and his very talented staff have put in a tremendous amount of effort to get where they are and have no intentions of stopping their hard work to continue to improve the product day in and day out..

For the money it's a bargain bettors who care about winning can't afford not to take advantage of...Give the free trial a shot by clicking on this link, you won't be sorry..7 Day Free Trial..

Best of luck to all today with their Super Bowl wagers..
