He was on the Young in the Restless. Early to mid 70's. I always watched with my mom during summer vacation.
I think Hasselhoff is funny as hell as an off the cuff drunk, like on those home videos that his daughter shot...especially the one with the burger. My guess is that he won't be so funny on one of those stupid scripted reality shows.

Yes, Shatner is more talented, he was also kind of a buff dude around about 1968. Hasselhoff ( IMO) was more the straight guy that had sex appeal to chicks, but that is very hard for me to judge, ( since I'm not gay).
I can see why chicks would prefer Sam over Norm on Cheers.....Yes, Sam Is "hotter", I guess ?
I've worked with guys in construction jobs as co-workers/ friends....then a female see's this guy, and it's like ,,,,, I want you inside of me now !
I never really got what makes a guy hot !
