Press conference scheduled for Friday and Warner is expected to announce his retirement.

Good for him, and I hope he is happy with his decision. Seems like a good guy and deserved HOF career, but the next 5 years will determine that.

I think so, too, but there is good reason to have the waiting period. It allows for objective thinking. He did have a 5 year goose egg in the middle of his career.

Back to another 20 years of futility.

Oh well. This 2 year ride was special for us Cards fans who have been used to losing for so long.

I hope #13 enjoys every moment of retirement. He deserves it.

he was basically done a few years ago after going to the Giants, then his career was resurrected AGAIN, as it was when STL grabbed him, and he made the most of it AGAIN, reaching another superbowl.......he had a wild and odd ride, but he certainly had the arm, and fun to watch.....

GREATEST SHOW ON TURF....

Should be interesting to see just how much faith Cardinals FO has in Leinart. Obviously they won't spend a first round pick on a QB, but let's see what they can acquire on the market or in the draft for security purposes.

They may give the job to Lineart while looking for another QB. This guy doesn't get it and he's not the future. Only one way he remains in the hunt for starting QB role. Change every aspect about the way he goes about being a QB in the NFL. This from an insider. The coaches are not happy with this guy. They don't envision him being the long term solution. They don't trust him

THANKS FOR THE RUN KURT, A CLASS ACT

Seems like a good guy. Great passer. Winner who had sucess in big games.

THe knocks against him is he wasn't the toughest and was kinda fragile. Seemed to get mentally rattled as a result for a bunch of years there.

I think he makes it though. Without looking the numbers are probably there.
