I got bored so I thought I'd make a small deposit at Bodog and play in their casino. I lose, of course and a few dyas later I get this email

Unfortunately, due to a brief technical issue on January 23rd your deposit for $25.00 was not processed successfully to your credit or debit card. We have already cancelled the affected transaction in your Bodog account. We kindly ask that you contact us within the next 24 hours to repurchase this deposit and resolve this matter. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding with this matter. Please rest assured, we are working diligently with our providers to ensure that issues like this are kept to a very minimum. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Best Regards,

So now my odog account is -$25.00 and according to my card statement the deposit went through...there are NO pending transactions on my statement. So their screwup becomes MY problem???

FUCK THEM!!!

I replied to the above email twice and got no replies. I told them I'm not send another dime untill I get my money returned to my card...I even sent copies of the statement showing no pending transactions and a zero available balance on the Visa gift card I used for the deposit.

I just got this email also....they are out of their minds!!!

Your file has been transferred to my office for 3rd party credit reporting from our Security Department for rejected credit/debit card transaction(s).

You need to call our office immediately to avoid derogatory credit reporting to Equifax and Trans Union at 1-866-887-8422.

Sincerely,

Robbie G.

Remind them that reporting an illegitimate debt to a credit reporting agency is a violation of US law, both criminal as well as civil, and that you won't mind suing them in small claims court, Also remind them that any litigation would take place in the US and that you'd love to see Bodog reps enter US soil.

Exactly. These companies claim a debt can effect your credit score, but it is a flat out lie. I had partypoker try to come after me one time and was claiming that I owed them money for something. They never did shit.
