Ever went to a sit down restaurant by yourself?

I've never done it, but find nothing wrong with people who do..

Has anyone here ever went to a sitdown restaurant by themselves?? I'm sure we've all went to a fast food place by ourselves, but how about a place with a waiter??

when i was in geogia and there was a ruby tuesday close by i would go in there and sit at the bar and eat wings and watch football and use the shitter every 30 minutes (goddamn wings were good, but goddamn)

does that count?

yes i have... its no big deal... i like food so much so when i cant find anybody to go eat with i go on my own... i dont need company to eat. its actually relaxing

there should be some restaraunt a man can go into, meet a woman, and fall in love for a reasonable price and not be expected to call her the next day....i would call it.....

Maybe i should feel weird. i do it all the time. never has bothered me and i don't have to discuss the day's happining's or other bs. I can take my time or eat fast.

What do you mean by 'sit down' restaurant? I always sit down at a restaurant, not a big fan of standing and eating, and often do this alone (with my newspaper and cell phone). Does 'sit down' mean ordering from waitress/waiter that comes to your table?

When traveling I HAVE done it but don't like it. Call me shallow but when I see someone sitting by themselves I think either asshole or loser. Sometimes both

I do it all the time. I do know people who think it is weird to do this... same with going to a movie by yourself. Never really understood the rational of why people think its weird.
