Do they have all their money spread out in money different book?

Even then, wouldn't one win be too much for these books to handle?

In Vegas, a person like Fezzik spreads his money around wherever the best line is posted.

When I was at the Silverton my last trip, he bet Central Mich at -2.5 and said he was trying to middle it. He had to have the other side....I think it was Troy at +3.5. Wound up being a 3 point CM win.

Most big time gamblers don't post up..so there is no reason to be posted up in tons of different books. I'm talking about real wise guys though, not those who solely bet online and try to find the best price, etc. Of course finding the best price is important, but so is being able to get down a significant amount. Most books with the best lines don't want professional action. And yes, I can hear you asking .. what about Matchbook, don't wise guys post up there? The answer is no (in most cases), as there is credit available there.

Even if you have posted up at a few of the good books, say CRIS, Diamond, Greek, Matchbook, Pinny (hopefully with credit)..you could easily get down 50k on a side and maybe 30k on a total with little to no effort. Add in a few credit shops and beards at the good books listed above and 100k is easy. So, it isn't really ever a problem for big timers to get down a significant amount of money..and trust me all of those books can and do payout into the 7 figures so there is no possibility that your bet is "too much for them to handle". In fact, even if you are sharp and betting them for insane money, all of those books will simply be pleased to have your action .. the more action the better!

Yeah, the small-time books.

CRIS, Diamond, Greek, Pinny .. will never turn away a sharp nor will they cut your limits. Matchbook, obviously you will never have those problems, either. There are also a select few credit books where you will never have a problem.

At small-time books, all you need are a few beards and your back in business, but most of those time those small-time books will have limits that just aren't worth the hassle to most sharps.

I guess it's amazing to me that some books are actually willing to pay seven figures to people. They must get heavy action.

All four books cut limits on certain people from time-to-time.

Diamond drastically cuts limits on lots of people.

Greek will limit you to $100 on teasers, make you call in all your bets, etc.

CRIS will specifically change the teaser odds on the individual accounts of players who are beating them on teasers, while leaving the "squares" with favourable teaser odds. In effect, they are kicking out the sharps while allowing the squares to continue to bet teasers.

I could go on, but I won't.

The only problem with Diamond is they won't give you a break on the juice.

Also the big timers have runners, or gofers if you will, stationed at different sports books along the strip and on Freemont, so he can keep an eye on different lines.
