Two hundred darn TV stations and I can never seem to find anything interesting enough to watch

:think2: It's about 2 degrees out so a figure a good night to search for something to get into. Man I've been surfing for an hour and most of the shows that are on these days suck. I mostly watch HBO and Showtime which in my opinion have some of the best shows on TV. What do you guys like to watch when you just want to veg out for an evening in front of the TV????? Lately I have been getting a little bored with movies.

I like having a beer and watching dvd concerts, I love music and love beer so those two together are awesome

Have quite a few dvds with concerts of my favorite singers/bands

History Channel/A&E normally have good shows 24/7

I've sat inside pretty much all day! It sucks!

I watched some of the Senior Bowl...fucked around reading this forum....watched Seinfeld.....now I'm watching The Office....I might beat off later.....

Same here tv sucks considering 200 station and nothing to watch.

An ability to enjoy mindless TV is a gift I am forever grateful for. Friday it my night out, Saturday is just relaxing at home. Tonight there is Celebrity Rehab, Shark Tank, Pawn Stars, Food Network, Myth Busters

im with you harrington.. thats why Tivo is the greatest thing ever.. there isn't many shows I like.. so I find them, and tivo them, so when i have the time, exactly what I want is on...

If you haven't invested, its time too.. Even if you don't watch much tv.. you will never go back

I have the Time Warner version of TVo and I agree it is great. I do have about 5 movies taped but I should start taping some other shows to watch when I'm looking for something.

Last night was a gazillion degrees below zero, no choice but to stay home.
Friday nights has to be the absolute crappiest night for TV.
Networks do that for a reason, because the networks know people usually don't stay home on Friday nights, but I digress, there are hardly ever any CBB games scheduled on Friday nights, make me watch the watered down NBA, freaking nothing with the exception of a fresh Law and Order at 8p on NBC.
Thank God for online gaming.

damn , some of you guys must have a very selective taste in viewing. i don't have nowhere close to 200 channels and i can always find something to watch. History channel and A&E and Discovery always have something that interests me, even if i've seen it before.
