I'm not sure, but if you want a good example of a guy who has got it made..
Jerome James
He landed a 5-year, $30 million deal with the New York Knicks after an impressive post season with the Seattle Sonics. During that season (2004-05), James averaged a mere 4.9 PPG, collected 3.0 RPG, and had 1.4 BPG. Pretty lousy stats, and most players would not be paid more than a couple million AT MOST for that type of production, likely less. Those type of stats would also not usually lead to a 5-year contract. Might I add that the 04-05 season was James' ONLY healthy season in his career. So he landed that deal off of those stats and ONE healthy season. 5 years, $30 million.
Jump ahead to 2010, and Jerome James is currently with the Chicago Bulls after being traded last year. He has essentially been ruled out for the rest of this season, and according to many sources, is unlikely to ever play in the NBA again.
He has played a total of 15 MINUTES over the past 3 seasons, and has netted approximately $18.6 million during this time period. Even when he did play a good chunk of minutes (406 in 05-06, and 273 in 06-07), he averaged 3.1 PPG and 1.9 PPG, respectively. It breaks down to $43,277/minute over the entire length of his contract, and $1.24 million/minute over the past three seasons.
