Fantasy Baseball Question

I am thinking about playing fantasy baseball again but it's been about 20 years since I last played. I just has some questions about how leagues run these days.

In most leagues do you put your lineup in weekly?
Are there still 5 stats that count for pitching and offense?
Do you go head to head and compile a won/loss record?

and does the rx still run a league? I remember they did at one time.

most leagues you do a daily lineup change, but u can change the lineup in advance for the week

there are as many stats as u want..but its mostly 5x5 or 6x6

yeah u go H2H and its win loss records of the categories u won..so if u won ERA WHIP AVG HR RBI one week and u lost the other 5 categories..you would be 5-5 that week

Daily? Hmm. I was hoping there were still weekly lineup leagues. How much is your league? Is the $ given to a mod to hold?

Been involved with fantasy baseball since 1990.
I won the big boy (CDM) league in 2006.
That was a 5x5 league with weekly changes, (Mon noon deadline)
All leagues I play(ed) in are 5x5 with the exception of MLB.com's league, that is H2H, weekly changes, and a roto point scoring system.
Major key to success is getting a first year stud prospect or a second year pro with major upside (see: Carlos Gonzalez) on the cheap.

Jake T and a few others are very good at this, pick their brains, they live for this stuff.
