NBA seems to be lacking rivalries
Can name 20 good rivalries ALL TIME in the MLB, and NFL tough to find 2 in the NBA.....

the NHL has more good ones than NBA.....

when Jordan was around there was Bulls-cavs bulls-pistons bulls-knicks...even bulls-pacers

seems to be nothing out there anymore.....

rivalries should matter all the time even when both teams suck cock ala packers- bears / browns steelers / CUBS - cards ......

Outside of the Celtics-Lakers rivalry, the NBA is virtually without one of real historic significance. The NBA’s rivalries are fleeting at best, and born out of things other than historical impact. The Bulls-Pistons rivalry died once Jordan put on a Wizards jersey. The Lakers-Heat rivalry was really a Shaq vs. Kobe rivalry and I dare you to come up with another NBA match-up that means anything to you at only a quarter of the way in the season.

NBA is a joke, hard to find anyone that willwatch an entire game when I'm out and about.
The owners will really struggle to keep up with the dollar amounts and declining revenue.

On that note, Bulls 5 in a row is an accomplishment.

Lakers-Spurs are the two premier teams of the past 10 years. Met in the playoffs plenty of times. Then it always ends up being a 4-1 blowout. If they had gone seven games a couple of times it would be seen as one of the major rivalries in sports in recent history

yea Celtics Hawks is turning into a decent one...Spurs/Mavs/Rockets when the Texas teams play each other its usually a little more exciting...and if the Lakers and Nuggets meet again this year in the Western Final after last year another heated series this year could create a good hatred.

My grandparents (from Rochester) have a Rochester Royals autographed team picture from way back in the day. They also have one of the Rochester Americans for hockey. They have team guides with Stan Muscial and Johhny Bench and Cal Ripken Jr and all of the other baseball players to play for the Red Wings. Tons of old school team pictures. Fun stuff to look at.
