I love Coinstar. I use it for it for all of my loose change, sans quarters.

The credit union doesn't want it to way more than 10lbs. We had TWO of those 2.5 feet coin jars filled up. so everytime we went we would take a vase and fill it up with coins..

Maybe it's just me, but I can't stand the idea of anyone taking a cut of my money just for the luxury of letting me have change back that aren't pennies, nickels and dimes. I NEED those damn pennies, nickels and dimes!!

Frankly, I just throw my coins in the ashtray in my car and if it starts getting full, I just pull out a handful and pay for my "Royale with Cheese" with it. Let the pimple-faced kid count it in the drive through window.

But let's see... 7%? You really feel like giving up a 20 dollar bill for counting 300 bucks in nickels and dimes? It's your money...
