But I do agree with Ferguson. He's great. All these late night guys stick around for too long. Letterman should step down and let Ferguson take over.
Jim Norton is very funny, but I don't think any network would take a chance on this guy to go solo on a late night show. He even admits himself that he has a pretty short fuse, so I doubt that he would be very cooperative when it comes to doing his own material. Plus, you know if he has a guest on his show that he doesn't particually like, he'll come up with some snide remark that will get him in trouble. I think a place where Norton would fit in pretty well is Saturday Night Live. He would bring a little of the Belushi edge back to the show again. Plus he's a very good joke writer. His book I Hate Your Guts is very funny.Someone should give jim norton from opie and anthony a shot at late night host..think he could be good

Really? Didn't we just see that was a colossal failure with the Leno/Conan thing? Leno was beating Letterman every night and then they move him out and Conan gets crushed.
You really think Ferguson (as much as I like him) could maintain Letterman's ratings?
