Just in case anybody hasn't notice, the line is dropping on the Superbowl. 6's still available with additional juice but 4.5 is now the norm. Reason IMHO. Freeney will not play or if he tries with a torn ligament in his ankle, he will either not be able to last and he will be a liability for the Colts both against the run and the pass.
The reason the line is dropping is because everyone is betting on the Saints ...plain and simple. Books are trying to get an even amount of money on both. That way they can't lose ....ie 1,000,000.00 on the Saints and 1,000,000.00 on the Colts means book wins 100,000.00 (Juice) risk free!

They try to get even money on all the lines ... When I booked if I had 5,000.00 on one team and only 700.00 on the other I would call another book and bet 4,300.00 on the 700.00 team. Can't lose automatic 500.00! It's when you get greedy and not call off the bet ... hehehe which I've done lol

traditionally in NFL marquee games, people like the favored team and the over
in boxing, you see a lot of underdog money, but i think that's b/c you have ML -800, -900 and people can't fathom laying that much $$$
here, i think people like the saints - think cubs in MLB. IND is a pretty boring team from a pretty boring city. i'm sure if you ask people who they "want to win" you are going to hear NO 70% - 85% of the time.
i think IND is the better team, and i don't think the line should be moving down.

I have no idea on the right side. I hear you on Manning and I agree, but the Saints and Brees are pretty damn dangerous too, especially if Freeney is out. I think it could be close and the points may be enough. I don't really see a big time blowout here.
