Anyone else have a Zune Music Player?

A few weeks ago, I decided to go all digital and liquidate my 500+ CD collection. I made the transition from albums and 8 tracks to cassette, from cassette to CD, and now from CD to mp3. It was time. Now my entire collection that once took up an entire wall in my office will fit in the space the size of a deck of cards.

I purchased a 120Gb Zune player for the remarkable price of $210 (a 16Gb was $15 more at Wal-Mart).

I've been having a blast the last two days ripping my CDs to an external HDD and syncing my collection with my Zune. Also, Zune Marketplace is $15 a month with unlimited downloads. I'm currently on my 14 day free trial and have downloaded about 20 albums so far and synced them up with my player.

Anyway, I think there is a social network that allows people to "Friend" each other and share playlists. I'm always looking for new music so if there are any other Zune fanboys here, let me know.

are you going to sell your CD collection?

if so, could you post the list of CDs?

I'll PM you a link to my Amazon storefront. I'm only up to the "D's" though so I'm no where close to listing all my CDs.

The Zune Marketplace software runs exactly like you would expect a Microsoft product to run, but I still recommend it.

The Marketplace is $15 a month, and you get 10 song credits. All the files are protected by DRM, meaning if you cancel your membership, the files won't play. However, with the song credits, you can purchase 10 "keepers" a month, so basically it's $5 a month.

I found out the hard way that the credits do no carry over, so you have to use up your allotment every month or they go away.

Zune HD only goes up to 32gb but that's probably plenty unless you add a bunch of videos. I have almost 4600 songs on my player and still have over 80gb of free space.
