There'll be lots of arguments on this one. Just one guys thoughts,

QB: Montana
RB: Riggens & Czonka
TE: Ditka
WR: Allworth & Berry
OT: Gregg & Dierdorf
OG: Hannah (on ANY team) & Delamielleure (Gillingham)
C: Webster

DE Hendricks (also LB) & Marchetti
DT: Lilly & Long (or Olson)
LB: this one the hardest Butkus, Ham, Lambert
CB: Had to dig on this one. LeBeau & Wehrli
S: Wilson & Krause
12th man DB, QB, & Punter Sammy Baugh
Let her fly guys.:toast:

Krause is on there, #4 NO WAY, the others could be considered but not IMO. Just pure P, Guy is right there, but he wasn't half the player Sammy was, in fact he doesn't compare. As punters Baugh still holds the per kick avg.! I put him on as 12th man for his versatility, didn't pick any P, K, or return guys. If I had your Hawkeye Tim Dwight would be hard to ignore.:toast:

The hardest position to pick was CB, almost extinct within the realm of caucasian players. As I said had to dig on that one. And yes, Ed White could just as well be @ G!

Silver my friend....you got my attention on this post when you mentioned John Hannah. Probably the best lineman to ever play for Alabama. Many think he was the best in the NFL during his playing days.

Great list to consider. Many don't have a clue about Lance Allworth, do some research....and you will.

Quarterback ??????????? nice debate.

definitely wouldn't have Csonka on there...most overrated football player of all time

I'll take white guys, Bleier and Kiick, from same era (even same team) before Csonka

with that rant my white backs would be:

John Riggins and Jim Taylor ... Taylor last white RB to lead league in rushing, 5 straight 1000+ yardage years, and could do it all (rush, catch, block)

I'll take those 3 LB (butkus, ham, lambert) on any team....

I'll probably take Largent over Berry
