Yea Ive never really been interested in the Summer Olympics. Winter sports are much more exciting to watch then most summer games , not to take anything away from those athletes just not as fun to watch.

I love Canada. Would really like to see more of it. Always wanted to see a HNIC game in Toronto or Montreal.

If ever you get the chance there's nothing like the atmosphere in Montreal , Im not a habs fan but have had some great times @ the bell. Plus the night life offers some great fun after. :drink:

I enjoyed it but KD lang?? haha that was funny... looking like Charlie Sheen up there on stage. I had some friends there in person and said it was amazing to be in there last night...

Read this in the wallstreet journal this morning: Last night’s opening ceremonies for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics may have run into technical challenges when a torch wouldn’t fully raise, but NBC experienced no such difficulties in terms of attracting viewers. The program drew an average of 32.6 million viewers and earned a 17.3/30 national rating, making the event the most-watched opening ceremony ever for a non-U.S. Winter Olympics. In contrast, an average of 22.2 million tuned in for the 2006 Torino Opening Ceremonies, and 33.8 million average viewers — intrigued by the Nancy Kerrigan/Tonya Harding knee-whacking scandal — watched the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics. Online, NBC reports that their site nbcolympics.com delivered 1.9 million video streams — an increase of 836% more views than the 201,000 streams that accompanied Torino’s first day.
