dont forget this...u have to bet $100 today into their high juice NASCAR to win pools or high juice matchups to get 100%...if not 25%..thats a difference in past numerous great betjam contests where the $100 could go anywhere.

Rev it up at betjam..

In Order To Collect 100% Of Your Prize, You Must Put In A Minimum Of $100 Of Action On Any NASCAR Wagers Offered At Bet Jamaica For The Race Running The Weekend Of Each Contest.

Yes some of us talked about it already in this thread.......

Guys, please note the following rule change in this specific NASCAR contest from what we've had in the past that just stated the action be held in any sport.
  • In Order To Collect 100% Of Your Prize, You Must Put In A Minimum Of $100 Of Action On AnyNASCAR Wager(s) Offered At BetJamaica For The Race Running That Weekend Fore Each Specific Contest.
It is to reward those who actually wager on NASCAR more so & to urge others to give it a try.

There are numerous wagers which match up drivers head to head vs each other on who will finish better, who wins the race overall, among other options to choose from, so not really that difficult to get a few smaller wagers in to meet the requirement each week.

And if you aren't that interested inNASCAR or currently and/or don't really understand it, do like I did when I used to make fun of it.
Put a few bucks on a certain on a driver or drivers you prefer, turn on the race, and keep up with your guy or guys. Trust me, after a while, it will change the way you think about it & I guarantee you that there are others who can attest to what I'm sayin......:toast:

I can certainly attest to that! 2002 was my first year following it, strictly due to betting it. All I knew about NASCAR was that Dale sr died and all the cars go in circles. Trust me, give it a shot and you'll love it! Follow me and the guys in the NASCAR forum. We post weekly and have some contests going on in there

best of luck gents!

looks like the scoring is different and that is going to make it a ton of ties?

last year you added up the finishes of the drivers this year states different and with only 4 options its going to be a TB contest.

We may go back to this after we give this a try.

You may be right and we can go back to points after this week if it doesn't pan out well.

After all we still have 35 more of these.......:103631605

Probably not going to throw $100 a week at Nascar...........I just don't follow it closely enough to do that with any confidence. But, hey, it's their contest and their rules and I respect that...........thanks to them (&RX) for their generous thoughts.

betjam is the most generous book in the history of this industry..

it would be great if the top 100% prizes were only given out to
people who actually support and wager at BETJAM, those that put in $100 in the NASCAR race for example..

we could post our plays here...
$100.00 $110.00 Motor Racing - NASCAR - Daytona 500 - Feb 14th - Race Matchups - 555 J Gordon vs D Earnhardt Jr - Jeff Gordon +110

there could be a 100% contest pool for those with actual action..

and another contest for those in the 25% pool..

Good idea for the contest with those that bet on the race I guess.

The juice doesnt appear to be that great at betjam though for racing. But then again, I am not sure what it is at other books either since I am rather new to sports gambling

Having to risk $100 to win a contest where the top prize is $300 isn't exactly a great offer.

Betjam offers 2 free contests a week here. NBA & Nascar...

Free $1200 in contest money a week is pretty nice if you ask me........

I noticed the rules changed also here and across the street.

Have another out like 5 dimes that has matchups and bet the required $100 on a matchup at BJ and bet $100 the other way at the other shop. You may lose a few bucks doing this but if you cash once during the year you come out ahead.

you dont have to do anything...that is the stipulation to recieve 100% of the prizes in their FREE CONTEST.....they still offer FREE PRIZES to everyone even though they arent playing there, which is very generous....but since u feel its not a good offer, then feel free not to enter and take a prize away from someone who appreciates their contests....

First, I appreciate the RX/Bet Jam contests on a yearly-all sports basis. This is a discussion not a bash. Like many others, I churn $1000's through their company monthly. My interest in Nascar started because of their contests last year. I am anything but an expert & had not watched a Nascar event in many years. Manipulating rx'ers to wager on something is bad business. Having a weekly base $$ figure in play, to participate in the contests is understandable and should suffice their need for action. However; requiring wagers on specific sports is not a good strategy . Bet Jam is getting all of their investment back 1000 fold. People sign up & re-up to participate with them and their sponsorship of these contests. They don't need to add more stipulations! 60+ people were in yesterday's contest. If all played a minimum $100 on the Daytona 500, BJ had $6000 + go through their till. The $600 in winning contestant prizes is a nice return on investment. If only half put $100 in play, they still turned a pretty profit. These contests stimulate their biz, in a big way, across the board. That is what advertising and promotions generate. Their motivation should not be to make $$ on these contest; as well. I liken this scenario to a car purchase. Sir; "If you upgrade the drive train, we will throw in a year's worth of car washes." My contest picks and wagers were placed before I saw this thread on Sunday. The comment re: bet $100 to win $300 versus 60 other people is bad pot odds. My two cents FWIW!
