9 grain whole wheat roll with spinach, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, pickles, no cheese and no dressing. A very healthy cheap meal.:103631605

All I remember is a report NBC did a few years ago. They tested all the major fast food restaurants for germs and Subway actually scored higher than all of them. Keep in mind the ingredients are always exposed.

just something about a sandwich place with no meat slicer, grill, flat top, range, nor oven (just bread warmer)...would rather go the typical town pizza joint where the chances are slightly increased they've rolled a meatball or didn't pull the deli meat from a nasa sealed type package.

Every restaurant in the US, Subway or not, has to under-go regular inspection by a local health department. This inspection includes the temperature at which the meat is stored.

My advice is to find a good mom and pop deli or sandwich shop near your work and near your home. Those type of places have to make a decent sandwich and have fair pricing to keep the same customers coming back.

I fight thetemptatin to pay $5 for a bread sandwich at Subway, Togos or Quiznos. Every time I eat at those places I just get disappointed.

i assume he has a lifetime supply of free subs .. and he isnt losing weight cuz of it.

thats cuz he eats subways non-low fat subs like the tuna or meatball sub or philly steak and cheese.. each have over 1200 calories in each one. *there is others like this as well...*

pretty much stay away from the ones not on the napkin that say 6 grams of fat or less.. the rest are horrid and not healthy as they trick u in commercials.
