...would you not have a pretty good idea that she would say yes?

I was at the matinee Rangers game at The Garden and between periods this guy had the camera pan to him and his girlfriend. Once she started to realize what was up she took off.

I am now waiting to watch Rangers in 60 to see if Rosen or Micheletti mention it.

It was good for a laugh.

Don't propose to your girlfriend in public unless you are pretty sure.
But it's good for a laugh if you do.

I'm pretty sure it was not a marriage proposal

The Lightning radio guys were watching and said that the two came up during the "Kiss Cam" segment that is a staple of most major sporting events. Camera homes in on various couples and when they see their own selves on the camera, they kiss and the crowd cheers.

Cam went to this couple and the guy went to kiss and she pulled away. He tried again and she got up and went out while the crowd booed her.

That's a rough one. I think I'd be so angry I'd beat the shit out of her. At least she could pretend in front of everyone and then let him down easy later on.

WHA? Beat the shit out of her? Your handle should be KingofWeed.

If the woman says no, the guy is automatically a JERK. HE makes her look bad for putting her on the spot in front of thousands of people. She is supposed to say yes in front of thousands of people just to make the guy not look bad even though she doesn't want to marry him? Go smoke another joint.

If a guy proposes like that, he better be 100% sure.

Moral of story:
Never kiss your sister in public.

My buddy just informed me that it was all a scam. He said that they were already married and were on a morning show. Ranger fans no less. They are still idiots.
