Um, is this a trick question? It's the same conference every year - and UCONN is down this year

During the past 10 years they have 8 Final Four appearances (only 1 less than the ACC and 2 more than the next closest B12). Additionally, during the past 5 years, 3 of the national runner-ups have come from the B10 (not even the ACC has had that many teams in NC games during the past 5 years). Those three runners-up, Michigan State, Ohio State and Illinois, further demonstrates the conferences depth. They had 1 NC in the past 10 years and 4 in the past 30 which is comparable to other conferences, but their total overall FF appearances were so clearly higher than other non-ACC conferences that they appear a clear choice for 2nd.
......
ACC has more but is dominated by mainly 2 teams...With 4 of the last 10 and 9 of the last 30 National Champions no conference even comes close in number of NCs. They are also the leader in Final Four appearances for both the past 10 and 30 years. The one mark against the ACC is that the vast majority of their success has been concentrated with 2 teams, UNC and Duke, representing 7 of 9 FF appearances in the past 10 years.
......
Big Ten has put 4 different schools in national title game in past 8 seasons. 5 in the last 10 with Mich St twice.
Facts is Facts!!(<)<
they also have most BCS bids for football.
.......

FINAL FOUR APPEARANCES
past 10 years - ACC:9, BigTen:8, Big12:6, BigEast:5
past 30 years - ACC:32, BigTen:21, Big12:13, BigEast:17

Big 10 has done very well in the tourney the past few years. Not sure how good the Big East is, seems very top-heavy.

Big East by far.

Why is the Big Ten a choice?

They play 54-48 games in conference and the style of play just plain sucks.

If the NBA were played the way the Big Ten played basketball, the NBA would rank behind indoor soccer in revenue and the All Star game would be held in some village in Iowa.

The question clearly says THIS YEAR, so some people dig up data from 30 years ago to prove their point.

You can't make it up.

If see Big 10 teams on I just fllp the channel real quick - I will say that Izzo has a legit program and they're just about as elite as you get after Duke, NC and UCONN over the last decade

And Fishhead and the rest of the Big 10 loos would repeatedly tell us how great their teams are

Can you imagine having to pay to watch Iowa play Minnesota? Or Indiana play Iowa? Wow. I can't watch it on TV for free.

The point guard dribbles around for 15 seconds and the commentators say the team is "running its offense".

think you'd have to go with the big east as well, as the ACC just doesnt have the powerhouses it normally does...Duke is good, and a few more teams are good, none are great...big east has some great teams this year in Syracuse, Nova and G'Town and WV...even some teams like Pitt and Marquette are nice temas..

Big 12 is solid too, with one great team and several good teams like Texas, Baylor, OK State, and Tex A-M

most underrated this year might be the Atlantic 10...they have some real good teams in Xavier, Temple, Dayton, Charlotte and Rhode Island
