Anyone here ever participated in a Retaurant eating challenge?

Been inspired by the TV show Man vs Food and I know I can put down alot of steak no problem but I can't do things like huge burritoes, pizza's, etc. It's gotta be steak. I've never entered in a challenge but would like to give it a try.

Share your story if you got one and whether or not you've won.

I did that smoke eaters challenge nearby here in san jose that he completed on man v food, i had about two wings and wanted to kill myself, afterwards i couldnt taste anything for a few days and not to speak of the stomach burning that whole day

i used to do a taco bell challenge with a puerto rican friend of mine....he only weighed a hundred pounds soaking wet, but i never had a chance:smoker2:

MAn vs. Food makes me want to give it a shot, but I know better.

That Adam guy is just built to scarve down huge amts of food

And he forces himself to eat anything hot

kobayashi would kill him....but adam is basically an amateur those guys are pros......he is good for an amateur

saw a friend do the luckys sandwich challenge and this kid eats entire pizzas like 4 double quarterponders and didnt get close to finishing the 3 luckys sandwichs which are actually really good besides being big

"Man V Food" should be re-titled, "Guy Eats a Meal"

If it's bigger than a plate or so, he rarely even finishes what he orders

I did a meter of bratwurst, quarter pound of potato salad and a liter of beer and missed winning by about 5 seconds. The potato salad required more chewing than I would have thought.

I cant stand dat dude on Man vs Food. His antics are over the top. All he does is eats big plates of food and sweara hes the shit. They should rename the show from Man vs Food to Man binges on Food, Why would you even participate in something like this? Like do you feel better after doing this? Makes him look like a fucking slob but I guess he couldnt give a shit since he is getting free food and a paycheck for his troubles. Now I fucks with Guy Fieri. He gets to ENJOY his food and always eats better shit than the MVF guy.

That show is great. I don't know what some of you are talking about. He doesn't brag or act like he is anything special. All he says is he is a guy who likes food and likes to eat. He doesn't claim to be the world's #1 eater or anything.

If a rational person will stop eating when they no longer enjoy it, he doesn't enjoy it as much as the people who actually finish their meals

Just watched the Man vs. Food EP where he ate a 4patty burger, 2 hot dogs, fries, soda , and large milk shake in like 15mns.

Not sure how he was able to stand up without letting something come out.
