I would recommend getting to BetPhoenix right now & lay a little on Cavs to win East at +150

Best price anywhere I've seen.......For example.....They are -125 to win east at 5dimes BEFORE this trade

Looks like trade has gone through.....

Antawn Jamison - F - Wizards

In the Antawn Jamison trade, the Clippers are also involved. The Cavs get Jamison and guard Sebastian Telfair, the Clippers get Drew Gooden, and the Wizards get Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Al Thornton, Brian Skinner and a Cavs first-round pick.
Jamison's value takes a hit in Cleveland, Gooden is still useless for the Clips, Ilgauskas is a buy-out candidate in Washington (meaning Andray Blatche and JaVale McGee could both start), while Thornton becomes an interesting piece in Washington. He will battle with Josh Howard and Mike Miller for minutes. Stay tuned. Feb. 17 - 7:03 p.m. ET

5dimes was one of the few to still have NBA Futures up and just pulled them down as well.

BetPhoenix still up.........And still +150

Jamison to Cavs in blockbuster deal

LeBron James got his running mate Wednesday night as the Cavaliers agreed to a three-team, blockbuster deal to acquire Antawn Jamison from the Wizards, sources confirmed to CBSSports.com.

The Cavs get Jamison and Sebastian Telfair from the Clippers, who send Al Thornton and Brian Skinner to the Wizards. Washington also receives a first-round pick and Zydrunas Ilgauskas from Cleveland and sends Drew Gooden to the Clippers.

The six-player trade accomplishes vastly different goals across the NBA landscape: Solidifying the Cavs' status as the team to beat in the East, if not the NBA; hastening the controlled implosion of the Wizards after the Gilbert Arenas fiasco; and saving the Clippers money.

It also solidified the Heat as the front runner to acquire Amar'e Stoudemire from the Suns, who apparently preferred Miami's offer for their All-Star power forward.

It's a nice move for the Cavs. Plus, Leon Powe is supposed to start playing soon. Maybe even tomorrow.
And if the Heat gets Amare, they could be right up there with Orlando and Boston. Atlanta's tough, too, but the Heat with D Wade and Amare will be formidable.

I will add my 2 cents on this deal

This is a bad move for the Cavs as Jamison is damaged goods and makes too much money. Also A huge cap hit for next year for this overrated bum which hurts your chances for a guy like Bosh who I would have gone after in the Summer.

Save your money and bet on somebody else as I live in this jinxed town !

Well it does look like the Cavs are desperate to make Lebron happy right this very moment in hopes that he won't leave after this year.

But Jamison has played all year & averaging 20pts & 9rebounds per game on that Piece of crap team. He should fit in nicely with Shaq & Lebron opening things up for him.....

His stats have been failing off lately with that shoulder hurting him and if this trade is suspose to make Lebron happy and make him stay than the Cavs are in more trouble than I thought.

They better win the title or else thats all Im saying on this matter !

Jamison will help big-time.

Joe,Hope your right but seen this happen too many times in this town with trades that were going to get us over the top and than fall flat come playoff time.

I'm not so sure they win the title but they already looked like the ones to beat in the East even before this trade...

Betphoenix is giving us all a shot

+150 to win the East STILL remains up when all other books have taken their NBA futures down, and the few that may have not, all have Cavs at minus.

If anything this AT LEAST makes for a great hedge wager later in the playoffs....

No thanks, I'll pass.

A healthy Celtics team is better than Cleveland, and the Magic have shown recently they own Cleveland as well. Dwight owns Shaq and Pietrus can defend Lebron well.

It'd have to be at least +200 for me to take it, as I again see a 3-way race.

I keep reading that if the Cavs want to keep Lebron they need to win the title this year. I'm not sure I agree?

Hell if he wins a championship he could easily say "I've given my home town a championship so now it's time to move on." Maybe even more so if he DOES win a title he's leaving.

I agree with above poster. Jamison isn't a long term running mate, decent move for this year but that's it.

No need to hedge..........one can SCALP it now...........

I would not want my money tied up in BP this long though considering all the red flags they have produced in the past two months.

I would recommend a pass here.
