Joe Paterno's legendary glasses went up for auction Saturday night at Penn State and were sold to some PSU alums.
The iconic spectacles were up for bids to benefit Penn State's Public Broadcasting. They sold for $9,000 to a couple from Baltimore.
They came complete with JoePa's autograph on one of the lenses.
They could be extra special now because Paterno says he no longer needs his glasses as much due to recent eye surgery.
