Gonna be going to my first event this weekend and a buddy of mine said you can't bring a cell phone with you.
I can understand the camera thing but not allowing cell phones seems kinda odd.

I don't know the policy, but would presume they don't like having surprise ring tones during the Sainted Swings and Putts

Cell phones are NOT allowed at the PGA events here in Vegas.. I tried to smuggle mine in, and they wanded everybody with a metal detector thing and caught it.. I cant believe how strict they are with that.. I guess theres always the idiots that arent there to watch golf, that have nothing better to do than talk on the phone, so I can see their point..

They are not allowed. To be on the safe side, hide it in your sock or somewhere until you get in.

I have a friend of mine who is going to be there Friday. Have fun, been to that event several times.

Thanks bud, I guess I'll just leave it in the car. I'm going on friday and again on sunday. Should be fun.

Not allowed at the TPC Norton, Mass. last year. Be careful as they pat people down on the way in. I was there for about 6 hours and never heard even one cell phone ring or saw anybody on one.

It was all in the crude context initially posted....Otherwise, we all love the 'w' word

I have been to the Phoenix Open for the past 6 years, and they have never checked for cameras, or phones. But signs are posted at the entrances that they are NOT allowed.

Just turn your ringer off.

The TPC in Scottsdale is a nice course for spectators, especially the 16th stadium hole of course. I'm sure you will enjoy yourself.
