Howard

Stern won't happen, once Simon Cowhill leaves....if he does ?

Ellen Degenerate is awful as a judge....knows nothing about music.

Randy is fine as a former Journey member

Kara works as a songwriter and attractive woman.

................................................................................................

How about this guy for the next judge.....

MICK JAGGAR

I think he'd be awesome, and Brit for Brit, to boot !

Mick would intimate these rookies hugely....assuming they know who he is !

Who knows. They need someone with charisma. I think the show dies after Simon leaves anyway.

Not sure if he would be up to it but maybe Bono

He'd work. not quite as known as Mick.

Ellen Degenerate doesn't work.

I could go with 3 judges.

Randy as lead ( I guess), by seniority , but he lacks the bad cop personna...
Kara....attractive, musical background as a songwriter
Mick/Bono/etc. A real strong current musician....maybe Tom Petty ?

then you'd have peeps with a musical background only judging, and an odd number of judges.

First of all they need to get rid of Ellen, she's fucking awful.

Yep, hard to hear her criticize when she doesn't sing, and isn't even attractive.

Shit I'd rather have William Shatner judge, than her, or that dude from Babewatch.....David hasahorse ?

Regis sings I'd trade him for Ellen.

Also it seems like Clapton is looking for work

Billy Joel

work for me

I'm a bit sick of Billy Joel, though.

BJ is from Long Island ( I've never even been to LI in my life), but I often listen to an LI FM station 103.9 WRCN ( because it tunes in easily in my spot in ct.

They play too much Billy Joel.

Why would Stern be a bad choice?? In all honestly, I think he would be great. He would have to tone it down some, but he's a huge fan of the show.....He was a radio DJ and program director of a music station for 30 years, and knows quality music. He would definitely bring the brashness that the show needs when Simon leaves.

Howard would be my choice.

I think Stern would be good but he's not leaving his job on the radio.

He's got it in for Ellen though, if you listen to his radio show. Claims that Ellen is a real bitch behind the scenes. People aren't allowed to look her in the eye and all that. You'd never know it from watching her show.

Stern wants like 100 M, not happening, plenty of options exist, like my idea of Mick, lots more would work, Ray Ramona, Kevin James....but I'd prefer a guy/gal with a more musician background than a stand-up comic, that where Ellen Degenerate misses.

lots of options....shit Sarah Palin would be better than E Degen.

God knows she's more qualified for that than running for office.

Simon is going, can the EDegenerate

keep Randy and Kara

add one judge, with some ties to music...Sheryl Crowe,Stevie Wonder, would be awesome, anybody with ties to music, not a Larry David type.

I agree with you, Simon leaves the show maybe goes on for 1 yr.-2 yrs. most and then will be part of the past.

If Simon plays it right it wouldn't surprise me if FOX doesn't offer him $100 million plus to stay on the show.

According to FOX the show is almost 100% profits as their not having pay anyone a dime to run the show except the judges and general expenses to do the show and it makes $100's millions off advertisers.

Simon was offered $100 million already and he said no.

He's leaving to do X Factor which he owns. He'll make way more doing that.

When X Factor comes out in America, people will completely forget about American Idol. I think Idol had it's time.

X Factor is the same as "Does America Have Talent". Right?
