i have canada also, favored in both mens and womens curling and mens hockey should do it.
also need germany under 9.5, favored in bobsled, which would give them 9.

Need Germany under29.5 medals, which looks like it will land right on 29 (27 right now + Andre Lange in 4-men bobsleigh looks like a silver medal and the womens speed skating relay should score the 29th medal) as long as Neureuther doesn't surprisingly finish in the top3 in men's slalom tomorrow.

Also need Canada most gold +400 (and Lyndon Rush to remain in the top3 in 4-men bobsleigh +300 and in front of Thomas Florschütz -135).

good bet, I didn't share your faith with that one considering we'd never won a gold on home soil before but now they have 12 with mens curling and hockey left... If Kevin Martin wins the curling this afternoon that should wrap it up.

Congrats on Canada to win most gold, bas.
Germany under29.5 total medals also should be a winner, although extremely close because of the unexpected cross country medals (only chance left for a 30th medal would be 50km cross country tomorrow, but Angerer + Fillbrich are extreme longshots...)

Almost forgot about my wager ( Germany Un 29.5 )
We talked about it and I placed that wager with a Book I don't use much.
( it was the Only book on my list that had it )

oh we definitely give a shit, Canada set a record today by becoming the host nation thats won the most gold medals at any winter olympics at 13, and the Canadian fans have been going nuts celebrating everyone one of them every night in downtown Van and Whistler.. However I will admit, there is definitely one more potential gold medal there that means more to us than the rest...

Damn it, 30th medal for Germany in the final race because of a huge comeback by Axel Teichmann, who already lost contact to the lead until the last 5km... ^<<^
