Selection Sunday is March 14. "March Madness" starts earlier in the week with conference tournaments. The NCAA tourney play-in game would be on the 16th and the first day of the first round is the 18th.

Conference tournament heaven from the 10th to the 14th. In my opinion, way better than the first week of the tournament...more games, better rivalries, and many times more competitive.
