Apple's iTunes store sold its 10 billionth song on Wednesday (Feb. 24), thanks to massive sales of tracks by Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga and Coldplay.

Apple revealed that Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling" is iTunes' all-time most-downloaded song, with "Boom Boom Pow" coming in at No. 3. Lady Gaga is the solo artist with the most songs in the top 25, with "Poker Face" (No. 2), "Just Dance" (No. 6) and "Bad Romance" (No. 22) all making the list. Other acts with tracks in the top 10 include Jason Mraz, Coldplay, Flo Rida, Taylor Swift, Leona Lewis and Ke$ha.

All of the top 25 tracks were released in the past five years (Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" is the newest) except for "Don't Stop Believin'" by classic rockers Journey, whose inclusion in popular TV shows The Sopranos and Glee helped the song reach No. 21 on the list.

But perhaps the real winner might be the person who actually bought the 10 billionth track -- they will recieve a $10,000 iTunes gift card.

Not 100% positive, but I think if you look at all-time full album sales (on itunes) it might restore your faith in humanity.

The only song on that list I'd consider downloading is the
Journey one.

Though, I need to check out this Black Eyed Peas group...

This just shows you how easy people are influenced by media. Good artists don't sell, artist with big teams behind them promoting their garbage sell.

that list blows... only a couple of songs that i wouldnt turn the channel on..

i wonder how much the artist gets per download .

thats close to 10 billion dollars apple took in . that had to pay out most of that i would assume.

Apple keeps 30%. Remaining 70% gets divided depending on what arrangement the artist has in place with ther current distributor.

Looks like the day of the album musician is coming to an end.

All about the downloadable single now.

I can't even remember the last time I listened to an album all the way through. I used to all the time.

This list is slanted since so many young ones download music more than anyone else.

I guess illegal downloads aren't as big of a problem as they're made out to be...
