Just won the ESPN Final Tournament

Any of you guys play at espn.com poker?

If so, you know they hold a final tournament for all the weekly winners.
Winner take all.

Just won first place.
Wasn't easy, had to qualify by winning a daily, then finishing in the top 25 in the weekly, then beating all the top 25's from the previous six weeks (75 a week x 6 weeks) for the title.

I hate to gloat, but YAY for me.

(<)<Thats very impressive BillHill.Congratulations.I couldn't find the actual results but If I'm not mistaken you won a 1K giftcard,correct?That awesome man and it was you're wifes birthday,great gift for her : ) Cheers.

P.S. Whats up with that RX online poker tourney that we have been pushing for?We need to get that thing in the works and have some RX poker fun.

Yeah, 1K prepraid Visa generic.
I pretty much was on magic carpet ride the whole tourney.
The full time pros are correct when they say you need to win at least 3 (if not more) all in races.
The big one was in the middle of the tournament, i was all in with 9-9, dude called with K-K, and flop comes 6-7-10, turn comes 8 diamonds, I almost crapped myself.
I think I won three races where I was all in with a lesser pair, and all three times flopped a set.

If you went to the main menu, click on tournaments, then click on final tournament, the result list will appear.

Regarding RX tourney, a few years ago we used to play on a semi regular basis, we used to assemble games on the fly.

There's a great organized game at the BASH.

100% true, you have to get some breaks to win a big one. i like to say you have to be lucky to get a stack and good to hold onto it.

that aint winning a race.. thats just dumb luck...

Hey you ask anybody who won any tourny if they got lucky and if they dont say Yes they lying.....Winning that Big Field , Multi day tourny has got to feel good regardless of the prize...Congrats on the score Bill. Damn Nice

Been here almost four years, I get burnt out from time to time, this is one of those times, so instead of forcing plays, I take a 6 day break or so.
