i held them for about 45 min right behing my brother who held them for 25 minutes. i made about 12 numbers and pressed my 6 and 8 bet 7 and 15 times respectively. i made a killing that night. we were at the niagra falls casino for a bachelor party. hell of a night
I had 'em for like 25 minutes, I remember one roll, I think my pass number was like nine, I rolled them for like 15 or those 25 minutes before I made my nine, made every 'place' number like 5 times each before making my nine.
I remember dudes at the table, pressing up their 'place' numbers every time I hit one.
Nice little dice heater there, don't play much dice, so that was about it.

IMO, the number of rolls or points made is more significant. Sorry to be a poindexter, but that's the way I see it.
I was at Mandalay years ago when a guy made nine points. Best I have ever witnessed. Of course he was the one guy betting $5 on the line and double odds.
Walked by a table at the old Binions where a guy had over $100k in chips from a monster roll. Started with less than a thousand. Hours later he pissed it away at the BJ table.

Got hot at the Mirage one day. At the other end of the table was this old man that had this smokin hot little thing with him. I come out with a 6 and this old fuker says "this son of a bitch is hot, give me $3,000 on the hard six". Next roll, Boom, Hard Six. He throws me a $100 a chip and says thanks. I throw it back at him and say "I ain't your bitch"
Best I've seen is 40 minutes at Golden Nugget. It seemed like an eternity. I wasn't even playing that day but the guys I were with made a killing. Probably back in 90 or so when this happened. A small, asian woman barely tall enough to see over the table was on fire. After she 7'd out nobody would touch the dice and they passed them back around the table to her. She shot anoter 5, maybe 10 minutes before she 7'd out again.
All totaled my friends dad made around $30k that night. I just remember him handing me black chips telling me - put this in your pocket. Put this in your pocket. Put this in your pocket.
This was all after a very, very big dinner at Hugo's so it really topped the night off well.

Made a Nice amount of Money that day. But there was a guy at the table that made 5 Times as much as I did. ( He was My Best friend, that Day )
Never had a roll like that again.

ABout 45 minutes a few times. Maybe it's just me but I'm never happy for another guy that made 4 times as much as I did because he had different odd-ball wagers or bet way more than I did.
Of course I don't want everyone to lose but I'm competitive by nature. I made maybe $3500 a few times, twice other people made 10 times that. FUCKER!!!

I was at the old Aladdin in Vegas many years ago.Some guy across the table picks up the dice and gos on a tear,making point after point.After a half hour the pit boss says its time for them to do a chip count,everybody's saying wtf.Obviously management was trying to break the guys momentum.After the delay the guy picks up the dice and throws another half hour till he 7s out.I was playing $5.00 on pass with double odds,walked away with over a grand....Never came across a roll like that again.
