We talked about this right after the Championship Games.....

Now the NFL is talking about it.

Should they Change it ?

needs a change... would rather they have a skills competition decide a game than the way they do it now

Teams that win coin toss and receive ,win at over a 60% clip

Id like to see a college type OT....Just my two cents.

MLB visiting teams bat first.

When a game goes to extra innings past the 9th does the visiting team bat first and if they score the game is over?

Of course not, the home team gets their shot.

Yes the NFL should change the current rule as it's only common sense that if one team gets the ball first & scores then the game shouldn't end there, the other team should get 1 chance to score as well.

One of the worst setups in all of professional sports.

Sorry but that analogy is awful at best. The defense can score in football. Defense cannot win in baseball or even change the complexion of the game, so it would be totally unfair to end the game like that.

You sure about that or just making up numbers?

I looked up these numbers after the Saints game and it was something like 60% under the current NFL rules, I think about 55% alltime in NFL and in college football ~56%.
College football ruleset also isn't perfect since the team to get the ball last can adjust depending on what the 1st team did with their possession (therefore f.e. going for it on 4th, if the other team scored a TD).

The no. I came across when searching for this topic:
NFL overtime games from 1973-2006:
winner of coin toss: 53-43-4
1994-2006: ~60%

NCAAF:
team to play DEF first: 220-175 (55.7%)
