I have a one-time Bonus Play that can be used on either blackjack or craps at a casino in Vegas. I don't know anything about craps, so I'm wondering if there's a bet I can place with the Bonus Play and also bet half that amount in real money so that I win half of the Bonus Play amount. I know it won't be without risk, so what would that bet be (pass/don't pass, come/don't come) and what are the odds I lose both?
Hedging is the word that was escaping me. I got some friendly advice, thought I would run it past the pros here to see if I'm missing anything:
After a point is established, bet the promo chip on Come (call it $100), $50 cash on Don't Come, and $4 on 12. I either win $46 for anything but 12 or $120 if the 12 is rolled.
Am I missing any other possible outcomes?
