I just came back from watching Crazy Heart with Jeff Bridges and checked the Odds for best actor and he's favored at -700?!? Yeah I think he was great in this film but I'm not sure he deserves to be favored at those odds. I thought Colin Firth was amazing in Single Man and George Clooney was very good also in Up in The Air. Even a long shot in Jeremy Renner in Hurt Locker.
The academy didn't even gibe Mickey Rourke an award last year for what I thought was a superior performance then Jeff Bridges. Maybe the academy will give this one to Jeff Bridges because it's the same type of character then Mickey Rourke did last year?? I don't know here someone needs to enlighten me before I hit the field at +500 :toast:
