I am in a pickle. I have a car reserved at both Avis and Budget for the March 11 thru March 14 and the online coupon I used gives me one of those 3 days free. However if I extend my rental start day up to Wednesday March 10th to March 14th then I don't get a free day. You have to have the car on rent for a minimum of three days from a start day of Thursday and returning no later than Monday. Makes no logical business sense to me. You would think they would be happy I am willing to extend my rental on such a dead day like a Wednesday. Now I know why the economy is in a such a flux. Car rental denies my extra day of paid rental which prevents me from buying more gas and one extra day of hotel stay and food and tips. That is not how you stimulate the economy.
Anyways I was told that the coupons from the Entertainment Books work online with no restrictions on the days of the week.
