Also used a Roberto Clemente bat in high school. Thin handle, thick barreled 33 inch. Best bat I ever held. Broke is off Moose Haas.

mine was dusty baker. got it in 78, guess he was good then.

i also had a hand me adult size down glove that whoever i could get to throw with me got to use that had tony oliva on it.

oh i had a johnny bench bat that was wooden that my dad had ordered as a keepsake - i took it and carved wonderboy in it after watching the natural

Either Kirby Puckett or Chris Sabo. Not sure. My Cal Jr. was the favorite though.

Rawlings Billy Williams model. had him autograph it a few times cause i kept wearing it out.I don't have it anymore.
I still have my Rawlings Jerry May catchers mitt. Left handed of course.

That was the same bat I used in High School, College and Semi-pro baseball.

I have to agree is was the best bat made. It seemed it was balanced just right.

Do any of you oldtimers remember the Jackie Robinson and Nellie Fox model bats. They had the thickest handles of all the bats.

Gloves by Mays and Jackie Robinson....
