Has anyone developed an auto-bet program?

What did the book think of you doing this (I would assume most would have a problem with it outside of Matchbook)?

Thinking of doing this for baseball. Anyone know what programs I should be looking at to develop a bot?

I'm afraid you've largely missed the boat on this one. 4 or 5 years ago this would have been a serious money maker, but the books are a lot better at foiling something like this - quicker to move odds to avoid stale lines, placing delays on your plays, etc.

The books are no closer to spotting auto-programs as they were 10 years ago.

Books tend not to like the auto-program business as the bets are of an arbitrage nature.

The real problem with this software is getting paid by the books on the 'wrong' end of the arb.

from a book's perspective, the only real issue with players who use bots are those that ping the site(s) 2,000-3,000 times a day trying to get data in as close to real time as possible for all offerings on the board - it is retarded and we've had to just block ip's

Guys who want to build a bot should probably start here...there is way too much info out there which is why I think this is the place to start.

If you are looking for someone to build a bot, lots of folks on here who will do it for you...

"Bots" encompasses a lot of things...need to narrow down what it is exactly that u would like to do, first.
