Last year (or maybe the year before) i remember there being an article (cant remember by whom) that discussed how much you could have made if you had bet $100 against the nationals every game on the moneyline, does anyone remember an article like this / can provide me a link to it? Sorry about the vagueness of the post i can't really remember the details, thanks for your help.

I know it was out of curiosity, i wasn't suggesting this as a strategy this year (that would be silly) but was having a conversation the other day and couldn't find this article when it got brought up.

Im actually planning to do that and, regarding to your question of how much you wud have made fading them every single game i think it was around 30 units, $3,000 for 100 bettors.

I know I made a lot of money betting against them last season, and I probably bet close to 75% of their games last season. But I wouldn't go there this season, as parlay says they're a different team this year, lots of good young players that will be coming into their own this season. I was wondering if anyone knows what the O/U for their wins total for this upcoming season. I'm guessing there might be value in the over?

It's probably best to review their schedule first.

MLB scheduling is unfortunately a bit funny bunny and not all teams play an equally challenging range of opponents.

Nationals will for sure play 72 games against the NL East (Phil, Atl, Fla, NYM). But their remaining 90 games are spread over 11 teams.
