Finally watched Avatar a few days ago. Very good movie... that being said, Hurt Locker was better.

It seems to always come down to who has the stronger cast. Therefore, it will be Inglourious Basterds or Hurt Locker. IB being the dark horse.

You think Inglorious Basterds? I think it'll be Hurt Locker. The Oscars expanded to include more movies this year. I don't think IB would have been it to the list if they could only include five movies.

Anyone bet anything? I put a few small ones in today, IB and District9 for Best Picture (just figure /w 10 films the voting might be split) and took "the field" for best supporting actress over Mo'Nique.
