I used to run a business in high school with my brother and friend.. We sold autographs and sports memorabilia that we got at local sporting events through our eBay store and charity auctions.. Now we're in college so we don't actively sell any more but still have a ton of shit.. We're from the suburbs of Chicago near the Berto Center (where the Bulls practice) and became friends with some of the players.. We have a ton of shit.. 6 signed Rose Memphis jerseys from his rookie year.. Also a few Beasley’s from K-state when the Bulls had the #1 pick and he came and tried out.. We actually got A-rod's batting gloves in a game against the White Sox where he hit a grand slam... Bobby Crosby’s bat at a Sox game against the A’s.. Plenty of game used balls.. Wrigley is where we got the most.. We know the ins and outs of that park... Side doors where players leave the locker rooms to go to the team bus (Wrigley is old.. no underground tunnels), pregame entrances for visiting teams (BANK).. We have snagged some sweet graphs.. Ryan Howard, Greg Maddux, Sosa in his day (still haven’t gotten Soriano.. tough catch).. Jose Reyes, Tim Lincecum.. The list goes on.. I called my friend today and he said we only have one left. I hadn't heard of us moving any, so I'm not completely sure if that's true, I think we have at least a couple. Not trying to provoke interest in "The last one!" or anything, just telling you what he said. Anyways, he is going straight from college to Florida, so I might not be able to get my hands on the jersey anytime real soon. He's got a younger brother at home, so we may have him snap some photos and e-mail them to us. I'll keep you updated.
