I am wondering what kind of negotiating power I have. I am not used to paying sticker price on a car. I usually pay invoice pricing but I am not sure if Chevy/GMAC is willing to wheel and deal on the Camaro like they would on a compact vehicle or truck.

Go onto Ebay to check out the same car and that will get you some information. I have used that same information when negotiating on the car with the local dealer then.

Recently bought a vehicle with sticker price of 25,000 for 19,000 after going on Ebay and finding the exact same vehicle for 18,000. I had all the information with me during my negotiations and it worked like a charm.

Good luck.

Information is not as important as your will power to get up and walk away if the price isn't right.
The dealer will counter your information with all sorts of gobbly gook. You simply need to know what others have paid for a similar vehicle and then set your price accordingly.
As long as you don't need a car this second, you have the upper hand in negotiations.

Negotiating is ultimately up to you and what you decide is the most you would pay for it, but I can say that a buddy of mine recently got the new camaro and it is just sick

camaro5.com would be a good place to ask other who have bought this car.

That being said, you'll probably end up paying MSRP or maybe a little under MSRP for this car. Camaro's were selling at an average price of $5k OVER MSRP right before winter set in.

That's a Sick Ride !! :103631605

What the others have said is true.....You need to walk in there with a Number in your mind, and Stick to it.
If they Don't take your "Solid" Offer, you need to prepare to Walk.

In most cases, they will say...I'll Throw in Free pinstripes...or some stupid shit like that.
You have to be ready to play Hardball !

Find Two Dealers.....Tell the first one, you would Rather buy it here..then over at so & So... The one that gives me the best deal, Get's my Business !

Just got back from the Chevy dealership. My God that Camaro is tough looking. I am actually a little intimidated of the 2SS 6.2L 8 Cylinder model. I never had a muscle car before and besides my Tahoe I have never driven an 8 cylinder. I might have to do a couple of test drives and compare both the V6 and V8 engines to see which one I am more comfortable. I was told the only difference in the pricing and amenities from the V6 and V8 is what's in the engine. The exterior and interior packages are identical on both models.

Not a fan of the Vette. It seems like a mid-life crisis car. I only see 50+ year olds driving that shit around.
