I just heard about this from a Dentist friend of mine who did this diet for 30 days and lost 30 lbs. I had never heard of it before. After reading alot of testimonials from all kinds of sites the people who have done this. Well, the results seem to be hard to believe. Wondering if any of you guys have tried this or know someone who has.
Supposedly you do not gain the weight back. The hormone you inject supposedly makes your body only burn fat. I guess it's banned by the MLB.
The Dentist I know that did it was in good shape a surfer but he's in his 50's so he has a belly and he did it and lost all of his gut and then some. Just curious if anyone else had tried this it seems different than other diets.
My GF and I did it about a month ago. Neither of us are over weight we just wanted to try and lose a few pounds.
Its pretty fn tough. I'll be honest. I did not cheat one time for the whole 30 days. I lost 10 lbs (which is a lot for me)
It seems to make you irritable as hell. It does work though. My GF is gonna do it again in a few weeks I think.

I know many people who have done it..You can find drops now instead of injecting...The bottom line is you eat 7oz of protein and certain vegetables and drink 1 gallon of water a day..It flushes the belly fat out of you, and they say it resets your body...I know 5 of the 7 people who have done it have lost over 20-30 pounds in a month and none were over weight.

hCG is doing nothing....you are basically starving yourself for 30 days....no need to have a fertility drug to help you do that....once you stop starving yourself (which is bad enough), you will replace all the food that you missed out on and gain it all back. Very unhealthy 'diet' plan.

Most of the stuff I have read from people who have done this is that they haven't gained the weight back after stopping. Supposedly it resets your metabolism. And the hcg supposedly makes you not hungry as your body is feeding off your fat deposits. I haven't read anything bad from anyone who has tried this and the weight loss seems to be huge on this. I've done the lemonade diet that is starving yourself at least with this you get to eat something.
And the tumor part show me proof of this one.....

i said nothing about a tumor. Again.....hCG has no known medical benefits for weight loss. it does not supress your appetite. many studies have been done. it is a fad diet. studies have been done with placebos. the weight loss is coming from 'starving' yourself which is what a 200+ pound person is doing when only eating 500 calories a day of a strict diet and chugging water. you can easily do that without using any hCG.
i pointed out the only real uses of this prescribed fertility drug for men. it is used to re-start the production of testosterone after it is shut off by the use of synthetic steroids. it's a post-cycle recovery tool. that's about it.
Viking It wasn't you that mentioned the tumor. People that have done it first hand have told me it suppresses your appetite. I've read all the doctors studies some say it works some dont. I dont see how you could go 30-40 days on a 500 calorie a day diet if it didnt supress your appetite.
