Rays Under 89.5

Seems too easy...Understand that they are a solid club but can three teams from the AL East all win 90 games??????

Thoughts????

im on the rays under as well, don't see them winning that much when they're 3rd best in their division, not to mention the orioles themselves have improved

Just two seasons ago, three AL East teams won 89+ games while a fourth (Toronto) won 86.

Rays will have pitching in top half of league once again, so the key will be if their offense can again produce 800+ runs as it did last season, but not the year before when pitching was second best in AL

i disagree with all of you on under for tampa... first of all i think a huge addition was rafael soriano, with that being said he has to stay healthy because this bullpen finally has someone at the back-end that can dominate IF HEALTHY... to go along with a staff of garza, shields, price, niemann, and wade davis plus u have to factor that the rest of the bullpen will be pitching where they belong in the middle to setup roles whereas last year they never had their roles defined... now to offense, longoria one of the top young players in the league to go with crawford who is an absolute stud flocked by good to above average players such as zobrist, bartlett, pena.... a huge question is bj upton, if bj upton of the world series shows up this tampa team wont only win over 89.5 games but will have a chance at the division title... i like this team alot and for them to hang a number like that tells me that this team is more than capable of doing some special things this year...

best record in baseball so far...
