SPORTSBETTING.com's HOOPS MADNESS contest (with therx.com subgroups)

This is a great offer from our friends at SPORTSBETTING. Very similar to the NFL Pick 15 hosted elsewhere, SPORTSBETTING is running a 'HOOPS MADNESS' NCAAB contest with therxforum.com subgroup. You may also be familiar with this format if you are played in the "Pigskin Pick 14" in 2009.

The only thing you need to do to enter is to have an account at SPORTSBETTING, you do not need to fund it at this time. (although active customers always get bigger prizes)

This contest is hosted within the SPORTSBETTING website. Please see post # 2 for registration instructions.

step 1:
open an account at SPORTSBETTING (you must click through one of the links in this thread), if you already have an account you are ready to proceed to step # 2.

step 2:
fill out the following registration form:

step 3:
a) Log into the 'Hoops Madness' contest hosted on the SPORTSBETTING.com website by clicking HERE
d) Click on "Group Membership"
e) Find TheRX subgroup under the letter 'T'
f) Highlight the word "TheRX" and fill in the password on the bottom of that field, the password is "wilheim"
g) read all the contest rules and dont forget to get your picks in before the deadlines.

step 4:
Sign this thread with the message "form submitted and sub group joined as 'XYZ". (Note please enter the user name you are registered as for the subgroup contest)

YOU ARE NOW FULLY REGISTERED TO PLAY, YOU WILL BE COMPETING AGAINST THE ENTIRE SPORTSBETTING DATABASE, AND YOU WILL ALSO BE COMPETING IN A SUB CONTEST WHICH IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR therxforum.com MEMBERS!!

PRIZES
1st place $1000 (10X rollover)
2nd place $500 (10X rollover)
3rd place $200 (10x rollover)

small print:
-The only requirement to play is that you have a user name and password at SPORTSBETTING
-full prizes are reserved for active SPORTSBETTING customers, in order to be deemed active:
-You must have wagered at least $500 in action between Monday march 15th 2010, to Wednesday March 31 2010.
If you have not met the requirements your account will be deemed INACTIVE.
INACTIVE accounts are still eligible for prizes, however, INACTIVE account will only receive 20% of the prize value. INACTIVE account must also make a $100 deposit in order to “Claim” their prize. SPORTSBETTING.com reserves the right to deem any account INACTIVE at their discretion for any reason, even if wagering requirements have been met.

The link in post # 4 should take you to the contest.

Otherwise, when you are logged into the SPORTSBETTING site. Go to the very bottom of the page and click on "SITE MAP". Once you are there in the top right hand corner you will see '1000000 March Madness' under the heading contests.

I had the same problem but signed out of the Sportsbetting website and signed back in and joined the sub-group and it worked.:toast:
