If it were not for special tax credit given by the feds to the MGM/Mirage back when President Obama was in Vegas, you would have already heard about 1000 people being laid off at City Center. LESS than 2 months after opening mind you. It would have blown up whats left of the Las Vegas real estate market and would have had a major impact on Wall Steet also.
