I have liked Tom Penders a ton ever since 1990 or b4 when he was at Texas with Blanks and the 3 guard up tempo O.

comgrats max...they played a good game, and their star wasnt even "on"....

I can see them giving someone trouble as probably an 11 or 12 seed......they can give a 5 or 6 fits, i would think...

NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Underdog of the Day - March 19th - Houston Cougars +9.5

March 19, 2010 10:51 AM EDT

<script type="text/javascript"> function resetForm(formId) ** var form = document.getElementById(formId); if(form) ** form.reset(); } } </script> Two of the best college basketball players in the country will duel when No. 4 Maryland takes on No. 13 Houston in the Midwest Regional in Spokane. Houston's Aubrey Coleman leads the NCAA in scoring at 25.6 points per game, while Maryland's Greivis Vasquez was the ACC Player of the Year averaging 19.5 points, 6.3 assists and 4.6 rebounds a game.
There is no denying that Maryland is the more talented and balanced team of the two, but the Cougars have got heart, are on a roll and have a literally unstoppable scoring machine when he is hot in Aubrey Coleman, and he has a shooting partner in Kelvin Lewis who averages almost 16 points a game and hits 40% of his threes.
All in all, Houston has got too much going for it for this to be a blowout. I figure Maryland will very likely win the game (I took Maryland in my bracket), but I seriously doubt it will be by double digits. I do expect a fun and exciting game though, and it could well end up with a whoever-gets-the-last-shot shooting duel between Vazquez and Coleman.
